Dodge Dart vs Chevrolet Cruze

Dodge Dart vs Chevrolet Cruze

  • The All-New 2013 Dodge Dart expresses an impressive level of visual drama. Clean lines from nose to tail form its curvaceous silhouette. The unmistakable “split cross-hair” grille accentuates its low, wide stance. And the Charger-inspired, full-width rear racetrack style LED taillamp makes an aggressive statement – something truly beautiful every driver behind you will be staring at.
  • The new Dart version is slotted between the Dart Rallye ($18,790) and the Dart Limited ($20,790) trims in terms of pricing. Standard equipment includes cruise control, automatic headlights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, projector headlamps and LED taillamps. Fuel-saving features on the Dart Aero include lightweight aluminum chassis components, active grille shutters, underbody aero kit and low-rolling-resistance tires.
  • One bold new design. Over 100,000 ways to personalize it.
Aside from the 14 interior combinations, 12 exterior colors, and six wheel choices, the ability to add over 150 Mopar® accessories is what truly differentiates the Dodge Dart from other vehicles in its class. Express yourself with unique grilles, hoods, tailpipes, shifters, steering wheels, and hundreds of other available options that can easily turn your Dodge Dart into your own one-of-a-kind Dodge Dart.

The Dart Aero gets 28 miles per gallon in the city, 41 mpg on the highway and 32 mpg combined with a six-speed manual transmission. The six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission will net 28/40 mpg and 32 mpg combined. However, the Aero will only achieve these figures sipping on premium gasoline, which will likely be a detractor for compact-car shoppers. When it comes to boasting, Dart Arrow get about the same fuel economy as Chevrolet Cruze Eco (26/39 mpg), 2013 Ford Focus SFE (28/40 mpg).

As the most technologically advanced car in its class, the Dodge Dart includes a number of class-exclusive features, including a premium 7-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) reconfigurable cluster display. Not only does the display deliver real-time information on performance, navigation and vehicle status, it truly comes alive with countless ways to reconfigure in full color and incredibly rich graphics never before seen on a compact car.

  • Three all-new, world class engines bring power to the people: The Dodge Dart redefines performance by pairing the widest range of gasoline engines in its class with the most advanced line of transmissions in its class. Choose from a new 16-valve 2.0L (160 hp) Tigershark ™ , a 16-valve 1.4L (160 hp & 184 lb-ft of torque) MultiAir ® Intercooled Turbo, and a new 16-valve 2.4L (184 hp) Tigershark ™ MultiAir ® four-cylinder engine. All three engines are tuned to deliver excellent horsepower and torque ratings and an optimal balance of power and efficiency.
