Mother Nature got you DOWN?? It seems the weather is always unpredictable. One day it’s freezing and there is frost on your car. Then the next day it’s raining. Even though we are in the month of December it doesn’t feel like it! With the holidays approaching fast some of us are strapped for ca$h. Well here are some very inexpensive ways to help you thru those icy and rainy days! By using some products we’d find right at home.
Keep your car windshield frost-free overnight in the winter by coating them with a solution of 3 parts white distilled vinegar to 1 part water.
Shield your wipers from ice. When your windshield wiper blades get grungy, clean them with rubbing alcohol. You’ll get more than just clean wipers-you’ll also prevent ice from forming on the blades. You can also take a white distilled vinegar soaked cloth and wipe them down. You’ll get the same results!
Remove winter road salt residue on car carpeting by spraying with a mixture of equal parts white distilled vinegar and water, then blot with a soft towel.
Repel rain from your windshield. Rain, rain, go away. Dump some baking soda on a damp rag and wipe your windshield. It will keep rain from collecting on it.
Stamp out FOG with shampoo. Your windshield keeps fogging up, and you haven’t the foggiest idea how to fix it. Just keep a bottle of shampoo and a rag in your car. When your windshield fogs up, squirt a few drops of shampoo onto a rag and wipe the inside of your windshield. The fog will roll away.
