These bacon & cheddar stuffed hamburgers might just be the reason that you start grilling year round! These are very easy to make, and your BBQ’s will be the envy of the neighborhood (you might have to start grilling in secret, just to keep the crowds away).
You’ll need:
You’ll need to cook the bacon first. I like to cut the strips into 1/8″ to 1/4″ lengths so they fit nicely into the patty.
Next, make eight thin patties, with half of them being a little larger in diameter. Place a little clump of bacon and then cheddar in the center of the four smaller patties.
Place a larger patty on top of each smaller patty and pinch the edges together in order to form a seal. Make sure none of the bacon or cheddar is showing, or it will burn. Once it’s sealed, you can form it into the perfect burger shape!
Grill these babies on medium for about 6 minutes. Flip them and give them another four or five minutes. If I knew it was this easy, I would have started doing this years ago!
