Good News..That Technology is not too far off in the future! Brands like Ford and Mercedes Benz have been tirelessly working on a new technology that actually connects your car to your home. Companies like Nest and Alexa, Amazons version of Siri for your car, are using the idea that you talk to your car and your car will talk to all the smart home gadgets remotely. Samsung uses its SmartThings platform using its TV as the home hub is able to talk with Alexa through Amazon Echo, which will eventually talk to a Ford’s car. Samsung’s smart fridge is equipped with cameras which will able to monitor the food supply. Therefore, you do not have to prepare a grocery list beforehand whenever you want to go to the supermarket, you just need to view your fridge from the comfort of your car and prepare the list then. The Whirlpool washer and dryer is equipped with a device which will alert you whenever the detergent needed to be restocked. It is also working with Amazon technology.
