This is a safety feature. A safety feature that can help you and other drivers. EVEN SAVE LIFE’S!! So ESC (Electronic Stability Control) will keep your vehicle on the road if you lose control. Winter is coming up very soon, you want to make sure you are aware of this feature! Your vehicle’s system will literally check 25 times a second to see if the direction your car is traveling equals to the steering input. I know, CRAZY AWESOME! So lets say your vehicle detects a slide, it will apply the brakes in an effort to help steer the vehicle in the direction you are wanting to go. The braking is automatically applied to the wheels individually to avoid oversteering or understeering. A little fact to know is that according to this Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, one third of fatal accidents could be prevented with this technology!
