All you need to know about Oil Changes

How to check your oil:
If you are unsure of where your oil dipstick is, check your owners manual. Under the hood of every Chrysler vehicle you will find a yellow dipstick. Pull it out and wipe it clean with a lint free rag. The dipstick will have 2 markers: Full & Add. Insert the dipstick back into the pipe, pull it out and look at the oil on the end of the stick. If the oil is at the Full mark insert the stick back into the pipe and you are done! If it’s at the Add mark run a little oil in between your thumb and index fingers. If the oil feels smooth, simply add a little oil to the pipe. If it feels dirty then it’s time to schedule an oil change.

How often you need to check your oil:
It is recommended that you check the oil at every fueling.

How often the oil needs to be changed:
This depends on the vehicle. It’s best to check your owners manual. The usual recommendation is every 3-5 thousand miles depending on the type of oil you use.

How to schedule an appointment to have your oil changed:
Simply call the Woody’s Service Department at (888) 895-6545 and ask for Deryck or Mike. They will schedule your appointment and answer any other questions you may have about your upcoming oil change!
