The 2017 Jeep Compass offers a stylish cabin, lots of storage space and capable 4WD systems. Four trim levels are available: Sport, Latitude, Trailhawk and Limited. The Compass comes equipped with a 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine with an output of 180 hp and a six-speed manual transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard in the Sport and Latitude model. The Trailhawk and Limited models come equipped with four-wheel drive. Towing capacity stands at 2,000 pounds when equipped with the Trailer Tow package.
The interior offers seating for five passengers and comes standard with cloth upholstery. Optional seating features include temperature controlled and leather appointed seats, an adjustable driver’s seat, sunroof and a leather wrapped steering wheel.
Standard interior features include push button start, a 3.5″ driver information display, a rearview camera to assist with parking and reversing, remote keyless entry, USB connectivity, an infotainment system and the ability to utilize voice commands in order to make phone calls and send text messages.
Optional available features include rear cross traffic alert, rear park assist, a blind spot monitoring system, remote keyless entry, a 7″ driver information display and proximity entry. Cargo space stands at 27.2 cubic feet which is expandable to 59.8 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.
Available safety features include air bags, 4-wheel ABS, brake assist, traction control, child safety locks, ESC and daytime running lights.
