New vs. Program

How much are you really saving?!?!

Woody’s is purchasing tons of fully loaded, programed vehicles (a new car that has been used for test drives throughout the year that the car was released) right now! So that got me thinking, which lead to me becoming curious about how much I would save purchasing a programed 2014 Chevrolet Traverse vs. buying a brand new one. So I sat down at my desk, snuggled up in a blanket and got down to business!

First, I went through Woody’s inventory to find a vehicle to find one of our programed, with a good price on it. Next, I went and built the exact same vehicle on Chevrolet’s site. As I went step by step building this Traverse I found myself realizing you get a lot of bang for your buck! Heated & Cooled leather seats, Bose Sound System, third row seating, media center…you get the point, TONS of options! But as I kept added the options the price quickly went past Woody’s price. Now, I understand you would be getting a brand new vehicle through Chevrolet, but the Traverse at Woody’s only has 4,606 miles. Still pretty spanking new!

So I finish building my SUV and here is what I found:

The two SUV’s look like twins! The condition of the programmed Traverse is flawless! But, WAIT….

There is over $5,000 difference!! Just because there are 4,606 miles on the programmed SUV! So, I asked myself, “Self, would you rather have a brand new vehicle or save over $5,000?” Self decided saving $5,000 was much more important than having a brand new vehicle.

So, ladies and gentlemen before you venture out into the cold winter air to go car shopping for a brand new vehicle. Make sure you do your research!! You could save yourself $5,000 more or less by purchasing one of our programed vehicles!
